I wear an earplug to hear TV ,coz I miss all the good lines now
When a KLM airliner comes in from Copenhagen town
I sit under the clothesline I watch their stomachs white
Like a body surfing city kid the trail they leave behind

I can often watch it dissipate as if it never was
And I almost could believe it except for that black shit on my lawn
I live under the flightpath getting birds from the inner-west
I'd sure miss them if they weren't around but will those fuckers ever rest?
