When we got up from that river bed
I took her by the arm and said let's get going
Cause them clouds seem to be getting together for a mean one
We'll walk on down to that diner

She said what about your shoe?
I said that don't matter I'll just wear my spare

We were going down the highway in my black Marathon
When I looked out at the western horizon
And there was the biggest twister I swear I ever did see
I pulled it on over and said everybody out
Everybody out so we can get a good look at this sucker
And then somebody goes
That there is the finger of God touching down on Earth
And we're all gonna die
And my man said
I don't necessarily know about all that
But I know one thing
We're in for one hell of a ride
I love this stuff
