Madonna has sold over one million tickets for her upcoming Sticky & Sweet world tour, according to her ticket promoter.
Live Nation said that over 90% of all tickets had been sold and that the tour would eventually gross more than $250million.
The figures, published yesterday (June 26th), are designed to quash reports that the singer was struggling to sell out certain venues.
A report in the New York Post on Tuesday said that 16,000 tickets remained for Madonna's date at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles in November.
Madonna was the first musician to sign to Live Nation's new all-encompassing contract, which means that the concert promoter now controls her business and material assets.
US rapper Jay-Z recently joined the Live Nation stable, hoping to expand his business empire under the company's guidance.
