The Kooks frontman Luke Pritchard says he believes that the
Arctic Monkeys career in America has flat-lined.
In comparison, the singer said that The Kooks were “really going great” in the US thanks to some high profile radio play.
“Arctic Monkeys have just died over there. They were huge for their first album but it hasn’t happened with the second one,” Pritchard told the Sun newspaper.
Earlier this year, Pritchard revealed that the Kooks and the Arctic Monkeys had fallen out over an incident at a festival in France.
He claimed that Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner had pulled his guitar cord out during the band's performance.
