Lady Gaga has said she feels "very honoured" to be the godmother of Sir Elton John and partner David Furnish's son, Zachary.

Earlier this week, Sir Elton confirmed long-time rumours that the singer was godmother to his son, born in December.

Speaking on ITV's Daybreak, Lady Gaga said: "Zachary is a beautiful, beautiful boy. I feel very honoured to be invited into their family."

Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John was born on Christmas Day via a surrogate mother in California.
