Adele could be on course for her first US number one, it has been revealed.

The singer, whose album '21' is currently number one in the UK charts, could have her first US number next week, Billboard reports.

The follow-up to 2009's '19', could shift as many as 300,000 copies by the end of the week, which would send it to the top of the US Album Hot 200 chart.

The singer's second album '21' is currently outselling the rest of the UK top-5 combined, while single 'Someone Like You' is also top of the single countdown.

Meanwhile, Chase and Status have revealed that they want to collaborate with Adele in the near future.
