Lady Gaga has announced details about her much-anticipated new album, ‘Born This Way’.

In a New Years Eve announcement on Twitter, the singer said the album would be released on May 23.

It will be preceded by the same-titled single on February 13.

Lady Gaga also posted a picture of herself wearing a leather jacket bearing the album’s title, as well as song lyrics.

‘Born This Way’ is the follow-up to the singer’s debut album ‘The Fame’ and extended edition ‘The Fame Monster’.

Lady Gaga is currently on a break from a worldwide tour in support of the album, which is due to conclude shortly before the release of 'Born This Way'.
