Tween pop superstar Miley Cyrus is facing further woes over lastest photo scandal after she was hit with a $4 billion lawsuit.

The scandal erupted last week after pictures of Cyrus leaked showing her making a 'slanty eyed' face while joking around with friends.

Now a woman from Los Angeles has taken legal action over the photos and is claiming the huge damages for every Asian Pacific Islander in Los Angeles County.

Lucie J Kim filed the lawsuit at L.A. County Superior Court on Wednesday claiming to represent more than 1 million Asian Pacific Islanders.

She is seeking the minimum $4000 damages for a civil rights violation, which adds up to $4 billion in total.

Kim claims that when Cyrus posed for the photo, she "knew or should have known that her image would be publicly disseminated via the media, which Cyrus knew focused on her private life, specifically TMZ."

Cyrus is yet to comment on the lawsuit.
