M.I.A Facing New Baby And Grammy Award Dilemma8 декабря 2008 года
 M.I.A has revealed that she is expecting a new baby on the day she will find out whether she has won a Grammy Award.
The singer’s hit ‘Paper Planes’ has been nominated for Record of the Year at the ceremony on February 8th – the same day her baby is due. Under the heading 'Baby + Grammy', M.I.A wrote on her MySpace page: “IS DUE THE SAME DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, so either way I figured I'll win.” She also promised to “never diss” the ceremony again if she won and revealed that she was currently working in the studio.
