Tickets for Andrew Bird’s pair of intimate New York shows at Hiro Ballroom sold out within two hours of going on sale Wednesday (August 13).

The engagement at Hiro is likely to see Bird perform tracks from his upcoming as of yet untitled release due out in 2009.

Following completion of Bird’s duo of New York shows as well as the remainder of his upcoming tour will see the singer head back into studio to finish up his album.
